Darul Quran Foundation is one of the largest Quran programs
in the nation. Founded in June of 2007, Mowlana Mohammad Haroon Khan began the
journey of teaching Quran to students in St. Louis, Missouri. As of June, 2025,
Darul Quran Foundation has 108 Huffadth, many of whom serve various communities
around the nation. Darul Quran Foundation has expanded and is not only limited
to teaching Quran. Students are taught how to apply the Quran to their daily
lives and learn how to be an example for the Ummah. Our aim at Darul Quran
Foundation is to encourage students to follow the path the beloved Prophet
Muhammad ﷺ taught us to follow. Our programs are not just limited to teaching
Quran, but also the translation, hadith, duas, fiqh, and other aspects of
Islam. Darul Quran Foundation offers many programs to help serve the community
and teach the Deen such as: Full time Hifdth, Part time Hifdth, Weekend
Classes, the Arabic Program, Alim Program, and our Seerah Program. Darul Quran
Foundation exists to help lead the next generation and help them become the
pillars for the Ummah.
Location: The Darul Quran Foundation is located at
517 Weidman Rd, Ballwin, MO.
Focus: Our primary focus is on Islamic education and
the memorization of the Quran.
Programs, we offer:
Ø Full time Hifdth Class: This program includes Hifdth with homeschooling for secular education.
Ø Part-Time Quran Program / After School Program: With over 200 students, we have 5 male and female Huffadth (Quran memorizers) working with the youth.
Ø Weekend Program: For the convenience of students and professionals.
Ø Alim
Program: A structured, multi-year course designed to cultivate deep
understanding of Islamic sciences, Fiqh, Tafsir, Hadith, and classical texts
under qualified scholars.
Ø Seerah
Program: An inspiring journey through the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ,
drawing lessons from his character, leadership, and sacrifices to instill love
and emulation.
Ø Summer
Program: A short-term intensive offering foundational Islamic education for
children and youth, including Qur’an reading, Islamic etiquette, and basic
Aqeedah, in a nurturing environment.
Ø Brothers-Only
Program: A dedicated learning circle for men focusing on spiritual growth,
Islamic responsibilities, and practical guidance for everyday life, all in a
supportive brotherhood.
As for the Full Time Hifdth Program our homeschooling
program has the following Other Classes: Math, ELA, Science, Social Studies
Online Resources: Available for older students.
Community Engagement: We are involved in various
community events, including youth events, sisters' events, and sports
activities.
Social Services: The organization is also involved in social services, potentially through partnerships with other organizations like the Islamic Foundation of Greater St Louis.
